Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Laborer / Service Truck Operator to support maintenance operations in the Fort McMurray area. The primary responsibility is operating a service truck and performing track cleaning and chipping activities on tracked heavy equipment. equipment. Successful candidates will also work to support Heavy Duty Technicians and Service Technicians by performing various required laborer tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a service truck safely and in accordance with site requirements.
• Perform track chipping, undercarriage cleaning, and equipment housekeeping.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Transport tools, fuel, lubricants, and maintenance supplies.
• Assist Heavy Duty Technicians and Service Technicians with maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company and client safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Air Brake (Q) endorsement preferred.
• Experience operating service trucks or working around heavy equipment preferred
• CSO certification required.
• Must be a self-starter, experience operating forklift, bobcat and loader would be an asset.
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
• Proficient in English, both verbally and written
• Will be subject to Random Drug & Alcohol Testing

Candidates with site experience preferred.

This is a full-time contractual term position located in Fort McMurray, AB. The position duration is project specific and based on decisions of our clients regarding performance on site. In some instances, camp accommodations are NOT provided and residents local to Fort McMurray will be preferred.
