As part of the Finance team, you will support the financial management of a major long‑term government contract while working in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through financial reporting, accounting accuracy, and operational support.

This is a contractual position.

Your role

• Processes and prepares client and supplier invoices; troubleshoots and resolves issues.
• Tracks overdue receivables and ensures timely receipt of all amounts owing.
• Reviews all cheque processing and fund transfers.
• Creates and prepares monthly finance and accounting reports.
• Processes and prepares GST/HST/PST submissions.
• Prepares and submits subcontractors' payment reports.
• Prepares monthly account reconciliations and resolve any outstanding items.
• Supports our Operations personnel and respond to any ad‑hoc requests from them.

About you

• A CPA or CPA candidate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• A strong knowledge of MS‑Office, particularly Excel.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and knowledge of J.D. Edwards, in particular, is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills required.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skills.
