The Data & Integration Developer, reporting directly to the Director, AI & Automation, will be responsible for developing and supporting system integrations and helping establish the organization's'enterprise data platform. The role will work with business and technology stakeholders to connect applications, improve the movement and quality of data, and make trusted information available for reporting, analytics, automation and AI initiatives.

Your role
  • Design, configure, test, deploy and support integrations between enterprise applications, databases and data sources using platforms such as DataBridge Pro and Microsoft Azure Logic Apps.
  • Develop and maintain integration workflows using APIs, database connections, messaging, secure file transfer and other appropriate integration patterns.
  • Build data transformation, validation, routing, reconciliation and error‑handling processes to support reliable information exchange between systems.
  • Assist in establishing and evolving an enterprise data warehouse and data platform that consolidates information from business, engineering and operational systems.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, curated datasets and data models for reporting, analytics, automation and AI use cases.
  • Work with business stakeholders, application owners and technical teams to define interface, data and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze source‑system data structures, business rules and data quality issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Apply appropriate security, access, governance, data quality, lineage and retention requirements to integration and data solutions.
  • Monitor production integrations and data pipelines, investigate failures, resolve defects and support ongoing operational reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain solution documentation, including interface specifications, data mappings, architecture diagrams, operating procedures and support runbooks.
  • Participate in solution testing, deployment planning, change management and the transition of new capabilities into operation.
  • Contribute to reusable integration patterns, technical standards and continuous improvement of the organization's data and integration practices.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About you
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting system integrations, data pipelines, enterprise applications or data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting production integrations using an enterprise integration platform such as Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, DataBridge Pro, Apache NiFi, or a comparable technology.
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, relational databases and secure file‑based integrations.
  • Practical experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines, data models and data warehouse or modern data platform solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI or comparable technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with source control, testing, deployment pipelines, monitoring and technical documentation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, service accounts, certificates and secure system‑to‑system connectivity.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of engineering design processes and an appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs in the nuclear industry; nuclear industry experience is an asset.
