What You'll Do:- Execute scripted branch audit program steps addressing internal controls, policies and procedures
- Compile test results and work with Sr. Manager to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls in place and adherence with Company or Regulatory requirements across processes
- While on-site, communicate preliminary results of testing with branch operations management to highlight ineffectiveness or inefficiency of processes and/or controls to help drive future compliance
- Maintain effective working relationships with operations management
- Work with Sr. Manger to prepare the Branch Audit Report summarizing the audit findings as well as best practices.
- Walk through the draft report with branch and division management prior to final issuance to address questions or concerns with the results
- Provide feedback on potential improvement opportunities for the branch audit process
- Support other branch audit resources
- Contribute to annual updates to audit programs, templates, and summary of results
- Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment while carrying out the responsibilities of the position
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of operations/field experience within a retail setting
- Knowledge of inventory management controls
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Confidence to interact with individuals multiple management levels above own
- Problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Effective writing skills, including report writing and audit file documentation
- Demonstrated time management skills
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Ability to work in a team environment, or independently
- Willingness and ability to travel, up to 40%, to Nutrien Ag Solutions facilities within the US and Canada.
