What You'll Do:Advisory Services
- Serve as the primary HR Operations advisor for assigned client groups, building trusted relationships with HRBPs, leaders, and HR stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted partner to HR teams and senior leadership by managing high-level requests, solving critical issues, and proactively communicating downstream organizational impacts
- Apply subject matter expertise to resolve time sensitive and/or confidential issues, related to topics such as benefits, leaves, death claims, retirement, myHR inquiries and payroll transactions.
- Support Expatriate and Cross Border movements , which includes but not limited to processing HR transactions, meeting with employee and internal partners such as Global Mobility
- Support organizational restructures, realignments, leadership changes, and workforce transitions by coordinating HR operational activities.
Case Management & Escalations
- Manage complex HR inquiries and cases from intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the escalation point for Tier 1 HR inquiries that require advanced policy interpretation, risk assessment, exception review, or coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when managing sensitive employee situations.
Acquisition & Divestiture Support
- Support HR work associated with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and business integrations.
- Coordinate employee data activities, onboarding and offboarding requirements, policy alignment, documentation, and employee transition activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support successful employee transitions while minimizing operational disruption.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and process gaps across assigned client groups.
- Escalate risks and recommend solutions to improve service delivery, compliance, and employee experience.
- Manage internal and external audits and ensure HR documentation, processes, and records comply with employment legislation, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with governance and compliance standards.
Process Improvement & Enablement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of HR service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, templates, and training materials.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications or another relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, or a related role. Experience working in a shared services or centralized HR delivery model considered an asset.
- Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including employee lifecycle administration, workforce events, policy interpretation, HR compliance, organizational changes, and HR systems.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, or large-scale workforce changes.
- Proactive problem-solver; resourceful, collaborative, and forward thinking to resolve unique HR issues.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to apply sound judgment when dealing with confidential employee information and routine HR matters.
- Most possess a strong track record of working in a collaborative team environment with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors and ServiceNow experience is considered an asset.
