Role Details
- Work Location – Brampton, ON
- Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – On-site minimum 3 days/week

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the Sr.Analyst assists in the development of analytical tools and provides inquiry based on centralized data in a timely manner to support routines and fact based decision making. This role will manage project data, tracking capital projects, and creation and maintaining reporting tools. This role combines data analysis, financial tracking, AI tools and process improvement within an engineering environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain project governance trackers and reporting tools, transitioning manual Excel-based processes to Power BI solutions
- Run and integrate SAP and CapEx reports for budget and expenditure data. Support financial reporting, performance scorecards, and decision making
- Support project forecasting and long term planning models through data analysis and insights
- Manage PMO routines and data retention
- Maintain the Asset Management framework, long-term planning trackers, annual review processes, and status reporting mechanisms
- Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and automation and support implementation
- Create and deliver presentations, dashboards, and communication materials that translate complex information into actionable insights
- Contribute to and support special projects, process improvement initiatives, training programs, and the development of tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (commerce, finance, economics, data science, mathematics or general business are considered an asset)
- Advanced proficiency in excel with an ability to model large data sets
- Experience with SAP-Power BI reporting, and/or AI Tools
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
- 3+ years of business analysis experience (sales, supply chain, commercial or finance preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis; Power Query preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Problem solver that finds efficiencies through process and tool innovation
- Performance driven with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
