We are searching for a Regional Manager, Enhanced Care to join our Saint John/Quispamsis region.

Our Saint John/Quispamsis region is home to a network of dedicated Enhanced Care communities committed to delivering exceptional long-term care and support to seniors. With a focus on resident-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement, our teams work collaboratively to create safe, welcoming environments where residents can thrive. As Regional Manager, Enhanced Care, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple communities, partnering with Health Services Managers, Community Managers, and operational leaders to support high-quality care, regulatory excellence, and meaningful outcomes for residents, families, and team members.

About the Opportunity

  • Work closely with the regional team of Health Services Managers and Care Coordinators to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate key performance indicators;
  • Build and maintain relationships with teams across all facilities including union leadership;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and best practices;
  • Establish and maintain an organizational structure and professional model of practice that maintains effective communication, assures client access to services, and clearly defines responsibility and accountability;
  • Respond to and implement the recommendations resulting from Shannex's quality program; responds and follows up on government inspection reports;
  • Ensure resident safety by ensuring the team is following and applying all standard operational procedures, safe work practices and training provided;
  • Support the standardization of quality practice and education delivery across all nursing homes in the Saint John region;
  • Ensure clinical resources are utilized efficiently and effectively;
  • Lead key stakeholder relationships for the region.

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • 5+ years of management/leadership experience
  • A problem-solving mindset with proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • An Allied Health Professional qualification (e.g., Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is considered an asset
  • Experience in long-term care is considered a strong asset
  • A degree in a Health-related field or in Business; Masters considered an asset
  • Experience in long-term care is considered a strong asset;
