Overview

Join AtkinsRéalis as a Junior Drafter in Vancouver, BC, and launch your career with a team delivering innovative solutions for critical power infrastructure projects. As part of the Protection, Control & Automation team, you will contribute to the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and industry professionals.

Your Role

• Draft Protection, Control & Automation drawings.
• Develop detailed wiring diagrams for power infrastructure projects.
• Perform drafting work in accordance with client practices and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver project objectives.
• Support the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects.
• Contribute to the production of accurate and high‑quality technical documentation.
• Apply innovative approaches to improve drafting processes and project delivery.

About You

• Proficiency in CAD technology acquired through a diploma in CAD technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Aptitude for identifying opportunities to develop and improve work processes.
