We are searching for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team based in Ontario.

About the Opportunity

Supports the financial performance of the Retirement Living Division and the Glenerin Inn by partnering closely with Operations to provide strong financial stewardship, meaningful analysis, and informed recommendations that support effective decision-making.

  • Supports the Finance Manager with translating pro forma assumptions into detailed operating budgets supporting ramp-up planning.
  • Assists in the development of comprehensive financial models that incorporate anticipated occupancy rates, revenue streams, and cost structures to provide a foundation for effective decision-making and resource allocation during project ramp-up.
  • Works collaboratively with HR and Operations to forecast labor needs, set compensation parameters, and ensure staffing levels support business goals while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Assists in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts and help standardize reporting tools and templates to improve clarity and comparability of financial data across the business.
  • Maintains oversight of key metrics, prepare routine progress reports for senior leadership, and recommend adjustments to strategies or resource allocation as needed.

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • Post Secondary degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA in progress or desire to pursue
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in finance
  • Can travel between the sites
  • Successful candidates will be required to obtain a?clear Criminal Record Check, and?where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check, prior to appointment

Assets:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant or master's Level Education
  • Change management education
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, Yardi, or Great Plains.
  • Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
