The Role:
We are seeking a results-oriented Technology Financial Reporting, Data Governance & Analytics professional to support financial data governance, reporting, and insights across the Technology portfolio. This role helps ensure portfolio financial information is accurate, timely, well-controlled, and decision-ready for Enterprise Delivery Office stakeholders, Finance partners, and senior leaders.
As a trusted partner and subject matter expert, the role supports executive reporting, portfolio governance, financial change processes, dashboard development, and continuous improvement across data, tools, and reporting practices.
What will you do?
Financial Reporting & Data Governance:
- Support end-to-end data governance for an annual Technology portfolio of approximately $270MM across 120 initiatives, ensuring financial data is accurate, complete, traceable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Manage financial reporting inputs and re-baselining processes in accordance with Bank standards, governance expectations, and approved portfolio controls.
Data, Tools & Automation:
- Drive insights and continuous process improvements across financial data, reporting tools, and governance routines to enhance consistency, transparency, and efficiency.
Stakeholder Partnership & Team Enablement:
- Partner effectively with Technology, Enterprise Delivery Office, Finance, Risk, Business, and Operations stakeholders to influence outcomes, clarify reporting requirements, resolve data issues, and support the overall portfolio mandate.
- Strengthen team capability by sharing knowledge, establishing consistent delivery practices, and fostering collaboration across both immediate and extended teams.

Role Dimensions
- Support executive reporting on strategic investment portfolios serving multi-region stakeholders, with annual portfolio budgets of approximately $270MM
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Technology, Business, Risk, Finance, and Operations to support portfolio governance and financial transparency
- Analyze and oversee multiple concurrent reporting priorities, financial governance activities, and portfolio workstreams
- Support, guide, and act as a subject matter expert for technology modernization and transformation initiative reporting frameworks
- Maintain adherence to BNS policies, enterprise governance practices, audit expectations, and operational risk requirements
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting PMO, portfolio governance, data governance, financial reporting, or financial analytics activities
- Experience in financial reporting, including analysis, forecasting, reconciliation, portfolio reporting, and executive-level reporting output
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; familiarity with automation or data preparation tools is an asset
- Knowledge of Clarity / CA PPM, PeopleSoft, financial systems, or portfolio management tools is an asset
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive reporting deliverables
