Your role
  • Develop, maintain, and improve project cost control systems, processes, and procedures; set up and maintain projects in cost control systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and support for project opening and closeout activities.

  • Track, analyze, and report project expenditures against budgets, forecasts, and commitments; maintain cost accounts, budgets, actuals, accruals, commitments, and prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, variance analyses, and performance metrics.

  • Support earned value, progress, productivity, cash flow, EAC, ETC, and project forecasting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual updates; analyze cost and schedule performance, identifying variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support change management processes by tracking, documenting, and assessing project changes, change orders, and their cost, schedule, and forecast impacts; identify risks, issues, and cost‑saving opportunities, recommending corrective actions as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, discipline leads, planners, procurement personnel, and Project Controls team members to align project cost and schedule information, support progress measurement, schedule‑cost integration, project reviews, and client reporting requirements.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of invoices , accruals, financial transactions, invoice processing, and month‑end reporting activities while ensuring compliance with company financial policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of project controls systems and tools (e.g., ECOSYS); contribute to reporting standards, best practices, process improvements, and provide ad hoc analysis, management reporting, and special project support.


About you
  • 1 - 2 years of previous experience in a Cost Controller or related role

  • Understanding of project controls processes, earned value management (EVM), and change management practices.

  • Knowledge of project cost control principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Proficiency in project controls and financial reporting systems, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
