The Program Management Office (PMO) for Avionics is seeking a highly motivated and results driven programs analyst to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible to drive a portfolio of business-critical projects to successful completion. The selected individual will lead a cross-functional team, including external suppliers, and oversee all aspects of the execution of their projects.
- Articulate the goals and objectives of the program, and how it will impact the business;
- Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio;
- Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required;
- Provide day-to-day leadership to cross-functional teams;
- Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management;
- Identify key project risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation or reduction strategies;
- Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed;
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate within a high-level cross-functional environment, interacting with senior leadership and diverse teams, and play a key influencing role in driving strategic alignment among the functions involved in the program.
- Ensure compliance with the Bombardier Engineering System (BES) and the Bombardier Manual (BM) for all product support processes.
- Collaborate with the Methods, Logistics, and Quality teams to support program activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production.
- Support operational, logistics, and planning activities related to the development of flight test and ground test rigs.
- Support the development of manufacturing strategies for new products.
- You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or an equivalent field;
- You have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience;
- You possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and are able to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
- You have solid experience working in a production/manufacturing environment;
- You demonstrate initiative, are results-oriented, and have a strong desire to contribute to the success of Bombardier's Program Management Office;
- You have strong knowledge of aerospace testing and certification processes;
- You are organized, self-motivated, and possess strong leadership skills;
- You are proficient in MS Office, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of database management;
- You have experience using and understanding ERP systems (SAP is considered an asset);
- You are bilingual (French and English) and demonstrate strong communication skills.
