Ready to suit up as a Camp Security Guard
GardaWorld is seeking professional and reliable Camp Security Guard? for a temporary Fly-in/Fly-out assignment in Nunavut supporting a major marine shipping operation. This role is responsible for maintaining security at a remote dockyard by controlling access, conducting patrols, and protecting the site from unauthorized access, and other security risks.

Responsibilities for Camp Security Guard
- Control access to the marine dockyard and verify all authorized personnel entering and exiting the site.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the assigned shift.
- Conduct regular vehicle patrols and security sweeps of the dockyard.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
- Respond appropriately to security incidents while following GardaWorld and client procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, operations personnel, and emergency responders when required.
- Maintain professionalism while working in a remote industrial environment.
Qualifications for Camp Security Guard
- Valid Alberta Security Licence.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract.
- Previous industrial, camp, marine, or remote site security experience is considered an asset.
- Hands-On (Use of Force) certification is an asset.
- Standard First Aid & CPR certification is an asset.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a remote northern environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform regular patrols in varying weather conditions.
