  • Continuously track consumer sentiment, market conditions, competitive activity, and short-term-demand opportunity to improve planning agility, flexibility of budget deployment, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Build strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Analyze, and leverage insights drawn from market research, past learnings and data analysis to establish the strategic direction of benefit-led campaign briefs.
  • Plan, project manage and execute customer driven action plans and marketing programs through agile and squad-led methodology
  • Apply a deep understanding of Bank-wide and business partner needs, ensuring full buy-in (agreement) and participation of multiple business, channel, and marketing partners in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Lead and drive a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Champion proper usage of the Scotiabank brand in Canada, in full compliance with global brand guidelines and Scotiabank's visual identity continuum under the direction of Scotiabank
  • Champion a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to Scotiabank's values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect. Delivers results in accordance with Scotiabank behavioural competencies. Supports an inclusive team culture and an environment where team members hear, share, and appreciate diverse perspectives
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Support an environment in which they can pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
