What You'll Do:- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you and your team are actively contributing to a safe work environment
- Partner with Category Managers and Specialists across Category Management to support the strategic sourcing process
- Manage competitive sourcing events, build and negotiate contracts across multiple categories, technical categories and complex categories
- Lead a mix of global and regional sourcing events, often with competing priorities and challenging timelines
- Strong risk management and T&C skills with adequate commercial acumen to find creative and innovation alternatives and strategies
- Expertise in contract formation and negotiation that would also include commercial aspects (should cost modeling, supplier market analysis, KPI's)
- Lead stakeholder management in partnership with the corresponding Category manager
- Lead the RFP evaluation and supplier selection
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar discipline
- 6+ years relevant experience in complex contracting supporting category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain management or equivalent
- Analytical abilities and experience using quantitative insights to make decisions and influence stakeholders
- Clear and solid understanding of, and practical experience with, enterprise asset management systems (SAP/Oracle), spend management tools (e.g., Ariba, Analysis & Reports), data management tools and source-to-pay systems (eProcurement)
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
