Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Bedford, NS
Availability: Full-Time Night Shift
Compensation: $24.94/hr
The Role:
The Forklift Operator will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the "move" portion of our business. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and loading of product within the warehouse and onto outbound trailers.

Responsibilities- Safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, or walkie)
- Load and unload trailers using powered equipment
- Move product throughout the warehouse and stage pallets for shipping
- Ensure accuracy of product placement and inventory movements
- Perform equipment safety checks and report any maintenance concerns
- Support order picking and product replenishment as required
- Strapping and securing loads to ensure safe transport
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in warehouse team meetings as required
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet targets or deadlines
