Security Guard

Security Guard – Arnprior, ON

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual to help ensure the safety and security of a private facility. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through a variety of duties, including:

• Access control

• Badge programming

• Extensive interior and exterior foot patrols
• Deterring theft and vandalism
• Preventing unauthorized access
• Enforcing client policies and regulations
• Responding to emergency situations and calls
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, mature, and available to work days and/or nights as operationally required
• Must be able to conduct both interior and exterior patrols during day and night shifts.
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and access control software.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.

Schedule

• Friday: 0600–1800 hrs
• Saturday: 0600–1800 hrs
• Sunday: 0600–1600 hrs
• Priority consideration will be given to applicants from Arnprior.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.43 per hour
