We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of multiple clients based in Peel region. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions.

This position is for multiple casual vacancies.

Position Overview:

Location: Scarborough and Markham

Available Shift Times: Days, Afternoons, Overnights and Weekends

Payrate: $18.35 to 19.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols inside the building on multiple floors and outside the building at Ground level.
• Tech savvy, working on multiple systems.
• Assist client employees with inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License.

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.

• Experience working in shelter home, health care preferred.
• Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
• Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.

• Must have corporate or concierge experience.
