Bring your skills and qualifications and become part of our team where you will provide administrative and clerical support services for assigned managers and unit staff! About the jobAlthough every day will look different, you will:
• assist courts in locating and scheduling interpreters (in any language)
• receive, process and complete written requests for interpreters
• assist with the maintenance of the Registry of Accredited Freelance Court Interpreters
• provide word processing services involving typing, formatting, editing and finalizing a variety of materials
• coordinate and maintain appointment calendars, boardroom bookings, travel arrangements, conferences, etc.
• establish and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
• open, sort and distribute incoming mail

Mandatory requirements• You must possess oral and written French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
Administrative knowledge and computer skillsYou have:
• the ability to obtain knowledge of ministry administrative/office procedures and guidelines
• experience in sorting/distributing mail, verifying invoices and reviewing office processes
• experience maintaining filing systems and ordering and maintaining office supplies
• knowledge of computer operations and various MS Office software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• knowledge of office equipment (e.g., photocopiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, mail machine)
Financial knowledge• You have knowledge of arithmetic and financial processes to calculate/reconcile expenditures relating to expense claims, purchase orders and invoices
Organization and analytical skillsYou can:
• determine what matters should be given priority when performing a variety of different tasks with conflicting deadlines
• prioritize work based on knowledge or by discussing with supervisor and staff
• determine the most effective way to present material
• work independently or in a team, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Oral and written communication skillsYou have:
• oral communication skills, tact and diplomacy to answer telephones/greet visitors, and respond to general program inquiries
• written communication skills to compose routine letters, such as acknowledgements from brief verbal or written instructions
