What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Position type: Full-time

Location: Garson, ON

Schedule: Continental Rotational (two weeks days and two weeks nights)

• Week #1: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays;
• Week #2: Sundays, Wednesdays & Thursdays

Shift timings:

• Day rotation: 07:00 - 19:00
• Night rotation: 19:00 - 0700

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard in Sudbury

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard in Sudbury

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Ability to get credentials like AVOP and RAIC
• A valid Ontario Driver's Licence - Class G2 or G with a clean driver's abstract
