Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In the role of Director, Business Enablement, PH&N Investment Counsel, you will provide the strategy, definition, development, delivery and support of operational processes and services as required to establish new or enhance existing business processes. You will also manage activities through senior managers and managers and implements business and operational plans.

What will you do?

  • Anticipate and plan for process integration opportunities that support business objectives. Create process changes by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to affected areas.

  • Manage complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation. Provide consulting and applying expertise to business and IT development teams on tools and approaches to automate and streamline key processes.

  • Maintain contact with front office teams to ensure their expectations are clarified, understood and met.

  • Design processes and workflow that maximize efficiency, maintain high levels of client experience, and comply with regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Act as a delegate of leadership as required, representing and advocating for the interests of the business with key internal stakeholders.

  • Leverage RBC partners to achieve cross- WMC solutions for employee engagement.

  • Provide day to day support in coordination of middle office operations, employee engagement, communications and marketing tasks for the business.

  • Develop ideas on enablement initiatives to help further business objectives and link with overall WMC strategy.

  • Continue to facilitate, adapt, and provide support (based on best practices and lessons learned).

  • Build and maintain employee value proposition, build next generation talent and create a talent pool

  • Managing, coaching and mentoring a team

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 5-7 Year experience in Financial Industry

  • Experience with Business Performance Management.

  • Experienced at Business Process Design and Operational process improvements.

  • Skilled in Internal Stakeholder management, leadership and strategic planning

  • Excellent oral, written, communication and facilitation skills with strong Impact and Influence competencies

  • Experience managing, coaching and mentoring a team
