Overview

AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. We have been providing a wide range of services to the nuclear industry in Canada and around the world since for more than 60 years. We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.

Your role
  • Support the engineering change control process by ensuring all design changes are properly documented, evaluated, tracked, and closed.

  • Ensure consistent use of engineering tools across the project and assist in maintaining technical reference data.

  • Create and manage engineering datasets such as Safety Analysis Data Lists, Unit Data Lists, and other integration‑related data.

  • Manage project databases—including assumptions, risks, and action tracking—and support development of engineering applications.

  • Prepare engineering reports, status updates, procedures, and processes to align multidisciplinary project work.

  • Support engineering disciplines with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and assist with technical integration and interface control across teams and Joint Venture partners.

  • Collaborate with all engineering disciplines to support integration, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices across the project.

About you
  • Engineering degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. registration in Canada is an asset.

  • Minimum 5 years of design experience in the core discipline and 3+ years in the nuclear industry, specifically supporting engineering change control and multidisciplinary integration.

  • Experience working under nuclear quality management systems (CSA N286, CSA N299) and high‑level understanding of CANDU reactor systems with ability to deep‑dive into subsystem design.

  • Strong engineering background with experience integrating engineering processes, supporting engineering applications, and handling multiple tasks in fast‑paced environments.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills, with the ability to coordinate work effectively with others.
