What you will do:

Technical Product Manager, Identity Management

Hybrid work environment 3 days per week from the Cineplex corporate headquarters at 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto (Yonge and St. Clair).

Technical Product Manager role will lead the development of our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) product at Cineplex. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the identity space, devising a comprehensive strategy and plan, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver a cutting-edge CIAM solution that enhances our digital experiences and ensures the security and privacy of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on CIAM-related and payment technologies and solutions, providing guidance and recommendations to the development team and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and steer the roadmap and backlog for Cineplex's CIAM solution in alignment with broader digital strategies.
  • Drive the development, communication, and advocacy of CIAM objectives, fostering collaboration among colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with the broader Product Team focusing on the 'Identity' aspect of CIAM to ensure a unified strategy and execution for the 'Access Management' aspect.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from various teams including, Security/Risk to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of the CIAM solution.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and system integrators to optimize value and output.
  • Create, refine, and maintain comprehensive CIAM product documentation, including IAM processes, customer experiences, and standards.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or Business Administration

Experience:

  • Product Management experience
  • Agile Methodologies
  • Business Analysis, Technical Product Ownership or Product management (emphasis on digital products)
  • IAM product or support/management with a robust understanding of CIAM and IAM principles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of various payment methods, gateways, and systems including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, ACH, and international payment methods.
  • Market Understanding: Ability to analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs related to payment solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with APIs, understanding of backend systems, and familiarity with relevant technologies such as encryption, security protocols, and compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).
  • Demonstratable experience in vendor management, including working with external partners and system integrators.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, highlighting dependencies and risks
  • Ensure the product roadmap & backlog is prioritized to be in line with business objectives and goals
  • Experience working as a part of a collaborative, cross functional modern software design and development team
  • Strong collaboration skills to engage with various stakeholders to ensure goals are clear and aligned to business objectives
  • Strong analytics skills with the ability to understand the business value of features being requested
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations that convey a clear understanding of the what and why when something is being worked on
  • Ability to develop strong relationships to deliver customer centric solutions
  • Actively learns through experimentation and is able to test and learn ideas when tackling problems
  • Ability to understand business problems, extract requirements and translate them into user stories for the development team
