Join a multidisciplinary team helping shape the future of mining and mineral processing projects across Canada and around the world. As an Experienced Metallurgy & Process Engineer, you will contribute to innovative projects ranging from early-stage studies through detailed engineering and project execution. Working alongside industry leaders, you will apply your technical expertise to solve complex processing challenges while supporting sustainable and efficient resource development.

Your Impact

• Develop metallurgical process designs, mass balances, process flow diagrams, and process deliverables for mining and mineral processing projects.
• Lead the sizing, specification, and selection of process equipment while supporting overall plant design development.
• Prepare and review piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process descriptions, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate and oversee laboratory and pilot-scale testing programs, evaluate results, and provide process recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, practical, and innovative project solutions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project objectives, communicate technical information, and present study findings.
• Support project managers with technical input, scope definition, cost estimates, and project execution activities.
• Contribute to the advancement of sustainable mining and processing solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metallurgical processing, mineral processing, or process engineering within mining and industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of process design deliverables including mass balances, process flow diagrams, equipment selection, and P&IDs.
• Experience supporting metallurgical test work programs and interpreting laboratory or pilot plant results.
• Familiarity with engineering studies, detailed design, procurement support, and project execution activities.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills with the ability to present findings to clients and project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Eligibility for or registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or another Canadian jurisdiction is considered a strong asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 – $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 – $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 – $118,500
