Join our Buildings Structures team in Calgary and gain hands-on experience across structural design, contract administration, field reviews, and multidisciplinary project delivery. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful projects, and build a strong technical foundation while developing your professional career.

Your Impact

• Support the structural design and analysis of building projects using engineering principles and industry standards.
• Assist in developing structural models, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to steel, concrete, and other structural system designs for a variety of building projects.
• Participate in contract administration activities and help monitor construction progress and compliance.
• Perform field reviews and site visits to observe construction and support project delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions that support project objectives and successful outcomes.
• Grow your technical expertise through mentorship, professional development, and exposure to diverse building projects.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or eligible for registration in Alberta.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Exposure to structural design and analysis through internships, co-op placements, academic projects, or professional experience.
• Knowledge of steel and/or reinforced concrete design principles.
• Experience using structural analysis and modeling software such as SAP2000 or similar programs is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for technical reporting, documentation, and project coordination.
• Interest in technical engineering work, field investigations, and collaborative project delivery.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 – $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 – $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $66,300 – $88,000
