As a Senior Technical Manager, Commercial Management, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the commercial success and delivery excellence of major infrastructure, transportation, energy, and development projects. Your Impact

• Lead commercial management strategies that optimize project performance, profitability, and risk management across complex project portfolios.
• Provide expert guidance on contract administration, claims management, negotiations, and commercial governance.
• Drive consistency and excellence in commercial practices while supporting project and operational leaders.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project delivery outcomes and strengthen client relationships.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop commercial management professionals, fostering technical growth and leadership capability.
• Influence strategic decision-making through commercial insight, data-driven analysis, and proactive problem solving.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

• Extensive experience leading commercial management functions on large, complex infrastructure, engineering, construction, or professional services projects.
• Strong expertise in contract interpretation, negotiation, claims management, and commercial risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to support project executives and senior stakeholders in achieving commercial objectives.
• Demonstrated success managing high-value contracts and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing project performance, forecasting, and cost management.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, build consensus, and resolve complex commercial issues.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams while fostering collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $162,200 – $212,200

MB & ON: $148,000 – $198,000

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $146,500 – $194,600 [
