Job Description: The EMP/PCP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures and work standards are followed as well as providing ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel. As a member of the front-line team, the EMT/PCP Coordinator reports to the Manager. They may also provide occasional support or input on provincial initiatives.

Experience

• Minimum of two years' experience as a practicing Primary Care Paramedic.

Licenses

• Valid Class 4 driver's license

Knowledge and Abilities

• Knowledge of legislation, protocols & scope of practice applicable to EMS in SK
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workload
• Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.

Other Information

• Unrestricted practicing license with Sask College of Paramedics at the PCP level
• Be physically fit and able to perform duties as outlined
• Experience coordinating, and facilitating adult education is an asset.
• Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
