THE ROLE

The Fitness and Sports Administrative Assistant assists with the organization of administration support for Fitness and Sports . You key in, edit, proofread and finalize correspondence, reports, statements, invoices, forms, presentations or other documents. You provide reception services and general information to clients. The Fitness and Sports Administrative Assistant receives, secures, and deposits cash. You perform bookkeeping tasks such as preparing and tracking invoices, bank deposits, and processes public accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma AND several years experience in office administration or a related field

Experience

In office administration

In budget administration

In bookkeeping

In processing invoices and claims

In making travel arrangements and travel claims procedures

In drafting correspondence and reports

In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual (English and French) Essential

Reading: Functional

Writing: Functional

Oral: Functional
