Overview
- Education: Bachelor's degree

- Conduct environmental impact studies
- Conduct feasibility studies
- Plan and design water and waste management systems
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant information
- Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects
- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
- Write progress reports Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association Computer and technology knowledge
