- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Keep a record of items received and delivered
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
- Load and unload goods

- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Pay and receive payments for goods Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
