- Assist in design, development and testing
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
- Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment Area of specialization
- Canadian Electrical (CE) Code Transportation/travel information
