- Renovation Tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
- Supervise other workers
- Oversee the analysis of data and information
- Prepare reports
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Evaluate daily operations Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
- Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate Equipment and machinery experience
- Hand tools Transportation/travel information
- Own vehicle
