Overview
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks
- Bathe and shampoo animals
- Prepare food and feed animals
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- Conduct anals glands treatment
- Keep records of animals treated
- Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals
- Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals
- Clean animal ears
- Maintain and order supplies
- Provide flea bath treatments to animals
- Clip animal nails Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Pet first aid course
- Pet Grooming Certificate
- Veterinary assistant course Animal specialization
- Exotic birds
- Hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc.
- Reptiles
- Tropical fish Screening questions
