- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks
- Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
- Operate heavy equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate Type of heavy equipment operated
