About the Job

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
• Keeping financial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
• Preparing statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Preparing tax returns
• Preparing trial balances of books
• Reconciling accounts

Requirements

Education

• College/CEGEP

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Permanent position
• Work language: English
• Hours of work: 70 to 80 hours bi-weekly

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Familiarity with MS Outlook
• Experience with MS PowerPoint
• Competence in MS Word
• General knowledge of MS Office
