About the Role

This is a permanent position offering 35 to 44 hours of work per week. As an R.P.N., you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing services to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and applying aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing.
  • Conducting specimen collection and ensuring infection control.
  • Monitoring nutritional intake and taking vital signs.
  • Providing safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • Delivering nursing services based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitoring patients' progress, evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consulting with the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
  • Certificates: Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination and a First Aid Certificate.
  • Security: Criminal record check and immunization records.
