About the Job

This is a permanent position offering 40 hours per week of work in a dynamic environment. As a Painter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the aesthetic and functional quality of our projects. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish
  • Mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials
  • Advise clients on color choices and wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, attaching rigging as needed
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects

Work Environment

  • Work will primarily take place outdoors at various locations
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer
  • Willingness to travel is required

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, and the physical ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Tools/Equipment: Must have own tools, steel-toed safety boots, and uniform
