About the Role

This is a temporary position offering 30 to 40 hours of work per week. As a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients using holistic approaches. Your expertise will help improve the health and well-being of our clients through various methods, including acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries, such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains.
  • Diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients.
  • Treat patients by administering remedies made from natural substances or suggesting lifestyle changes.
  • Advise patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions.
  • Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands, and feet.
  • Provide alternative forms of health care to patients.
  • Administer acupuncture needles or utilize stimulation techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Work Term: Temporary
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
