Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to achieve a flawless finish.
• Applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster for a professional look.
• Cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.
• Curing freshly plastered surfaces to enhance durability.
• Fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing panels to create acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets with precision.
• Moulding and installing ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add elegance to our projects.
• Smoothing out excess compound and allowing coats to dry properly.
• Taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound for a seamless finish.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
