About the Job

As a Forger Helper, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal surfaces.
• Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
• Manually transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment within the plant.
• Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, and other metal workers.
• Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials efficiently.
• Grind or chip excess metal from products using hand tools.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
• Load and unload vehicles as needed.
