Job Overview

As a Wax-Pattern Mouldmaker, you will play a crucial role in the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coating cores with protective materials
• Making sand moulds using patterns, moulding boxes, sand, and hand tools
• Operating ovens to dry moulds
• Creating cores for use in moulds to form holes or void spaces in castings
• Setting up, adjusting, and operating various casting machines
• Hand ladling molten metal into moulds to produce castings

Our foundry environment is dynamic and engaging, though it can be noisy, dusty, and may have odours. You will be working in a setting that requires physical stamina and manual dexterity, as tasks can be repetitive and physically demanding.
