At Nexgen Drywall Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise to create beautiful and functional spaces.

Key Responsibilities

As a Drywall Installer and Finisher, you will:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
• Utilize laser alignment systems and operate CADD and other computer software systems.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and erect/install scaffolding and falsework.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects.
