About the Role

  • Providing crisis intervention and conflict resolution
  • Supervising client activities and assisting with pre-release and release planning

  • Recruiting and training volunteers and support staff
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings

Work Environment

This position is set in an urban area within a halfway house and community agency, where you will work closely with a diverse group of individuals. You will supervise 16-20 clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Employment Duration: Permanent
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years) or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a community service organization
