About the Role

Are you a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic with a passion for agriculture? Mazergroup is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Swan River, MB. Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct apprentices and share your knowledge with the next generation of mechanics.
  • Troubleshoot and inspect agricultural equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose issues using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Conduct repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years or equivalent experience
  • Certificates: Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate

  • Outdoor setting with exposure to dusty, hot, and noisy conditions.
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
  • Must be willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Own transportation and a valid driver's license are required, as public transportation is not available.
