Key Responsibilities

  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in top condition.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to keep our equipment running smoothly.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch efficiently.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately.

Requirements

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience
  • Certificates:
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
    • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
