This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work 40 to 60 hours per week, driving our state-of-the-art trucks to deliver goods across long distances.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods efficiently and safely.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in top condition.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep our fleet running smoothly.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Language: English.
• Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
• Licenses: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
• Transportation/Travel: Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight.
