At Manpower Services Canada Limit, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumber to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for efficient project execution.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 workers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to enhance project planning.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Requirements

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in plumbing.
  • Certificates: Plumber Red Seal Certificate.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's licence.
  • Security: Criminal record check.
