About the Role

As an Early Childhood Education Worker, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of children in our care. You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Key Responsibilities

  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support children's development.
  • Assist early childhood educators in executing programs.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and local excursions.
  • Encourage creativity through art, music, and physical activities.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience

  • Child development worker (ECE level 2)
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
