Key Responsibilities
- Assemble prefabricated parts and sections of fibreglass, metal, or other materials to form boats.
- Clean and maintain your work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Caulk decks and hulls to ensure water-tight integrity.
- Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts, and other accessories.
- Inspect assembled boats for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Mark defects for repair and check manufactured items for conformance to specifications.
- Operate machinery to fabricate parts and products.
- Return defective products for repair or recycling.
- Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into their final form using hand tools.
- Assemble parts and components using various methods such as screwing, clipping, gluing, bonding, or welding.
- Cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components.
