Key Responsibilities
- Prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Weigh meats accurately for customer purchases
- Cut poultry into parts for retail
- Price meat products appropriately
- Sell meats directly to customers with a friendly approach
- Prepare attractive displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats
- Create labels and attach them to goods
- Organize and maintain inventory for efficient operations
